The goal of STEM for Social Good is to inspire girls everywhere to use STEM skills to promote gender equality and change the world. When you participate in Girl Up’s STEM for Social Good programming, you’ll be joining together with a like-minded community of STEMinists who are passionate about creating innovative solutions to problems facing their community and our world. Here are some stories from girls that attended a STEM for Social Good event in Orlando, Florida: “I enjoyed the Girl Up STEM conference so much! I loved how interactive and team-building the activities were and I walked out feeling inspired and empowered after hearing the amazing guest speakers’ stories! I definitely want to go back next year and encourage others to join in.” – Brooke Slis “I am so glad I attended the Girl Up STEM conference. It was truly a valuable experience and I felt so inspired.
