In April of 2010, season 7 winner of AMERICAN IDOL David Cook traveled to Ethiopia with the UN Foundation to visit the Biruh Tesfa project. His trip was featured on the season's IDOL GIVES BACK charity episode, representing the UN Foundation's work with adolescent girls.
