Take Action Tuesday: Reading Changed My Life Contest!

One morning when I was 7 years old, I snatched a copy of the New York Times out of my father’s hands and began reading the front-page headlines aloud.

That morning marked the beginning of my love of words – of writing them AND of reading them! My ability to read has helped me to be creative, inspired and informed.

How has reading changed your life??

This is the question the Global Partnership for Education wants you to think about for their awesome Reading Changed My Life Photo and Video Contest! To enter the contest, submit a photo or video that illustrates how reading has impacted your life along with a short description of how much reading means to you!

Literacy and education are incredibly important and yet 775 million people around the world can’t read or write. How has reading helped you become the person you are today?

Submit your entry on the Global Partnership for Education’s website, Facebook or Twitter for the chance to win an e-reader and photography or video equipment!
