To the global community, the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are an important set of targets we strive to reach in order to create a better world for girls, families, and everyone around the world. This Friday, we’re taking part in a global MDG rally and we want YOU to be there.
On April 5, Girl Up is joining groups around the world in Momentum1000, a global digital rally to talk about the big challenges our world faces and some big solutions that have helped address them. The rally will be 1000 consecutive minutes of chats, Q&As, and hangouts with our partners in all areas of global development.

We’ll be hosting our Google + Hangout “Change Starts with Girls,” from 11:30am-12pm EST on April 5.
You're invited to join Girl Up, Girl Up Teen Advisors, 10x10 - Girl Rising, and other special guests for a discussion on the power of adolescent girls around the world and their role in global development. We'll be talking about MDG 2 (achieve universal primary education) and MDG 3 (promote gender equality and empower women) and how these directly impact adolescent girls. Organizations are doing a lot of great work to help achieve these MDGs and it’s time to celebrate that!
