Our friends at The Global Partnership for Education, along with 88 co-sponsors, launched the Reading Changed My Life Photo and Video Contest on September 7, 2012. Their goal is to share compelling photos and thought-provoking videos to show the world the importance of literacy and education.

That’s where YOU come in! You can take part in their contest and share the story of how reading changed your life.  Not only will you be joining an amazing global project, but you will also have a chance to win some awesome prizes!

The top 5 photos and 5 videos selected by public voting will win an e-reader and be eligible for other prizes.

There are 3 ways to enter,

1. Go to the competition website, and click "Enter Now"
2. Connect with them through Facebook using their Facebook app.
3. OR tweet your entry to @GPforEducation with hashtag #readingcontest and include your name, your country and how reading changed your life.

The deadline for submission is Wednesday, November 7 at 6 p.m. EST. Voting takes place November 7-21, and the winners will be announced on November 28, 2012.
