Can you imagine what your life would be like if you couldn’t go to school? Here in America, we are lucky that this question is just hypothetical.

But this is a reality for girls all over the world: A life without an education.

For today’s Take Action, we want you to educate yourself on the global issue of, well, education!

There are 67 million children that are not in school, and more than half of these children are girls. According to the World Bank, 35 million girls do not attend primary school!

An education can keep a girl safe, out of poverty and healthy, while giving her to tools to better the well-being of her family and her community.

Girls can change the world – they just need an education.

We started this post by asking you to imagine what it would feel like to have no education. Now we’d like you to imagine a world where all girls have access to an education. 

What a happy, healthy and prosperous world that would be.
