Hi! My name is Sarah Gale. I'm a 15-year-old freshman and live in Boca Raton, Fl.
I am a trilingual, open-minded student who recently had the honor of receiving the American Citizenship Award for being the most involved and active in my community and school, and for setting a good example for other students.
I have a deep interest in other cultures and languages, and I was awarded with the French award two years in a row. I graduated middle school as the President of the most prestigious, academic, and charitable club at the school called the National Junior Beta Club.
I have a strong passion for music because it’s one of the few things that is universal, and it's a great way to connect with yourself and other people. In my spare time, you can find me in the dance studio, singing, or playing my guitar.
After realizing how much I love helping people, I knew I had to take the next step beyond my community. So, when I came across Girl Up on the internet and absolutely fell in love with the organization, I knew becoming a Teen Advisor would be perfect.
Before applying to be a Teen Advisor, I created a Girl Up Club (called Rise Up with Girl Up) in my community. Leading my club throughout the year was an incredible experience and I look forward to seeing what else my club can accomplish!
As a Teen Advisor, I hope to spread my passion and enthusiasm for helping girls to people not just in my community but also across the country and the world.
