Do you know someone who’s got what it takes to be a Girl Up Teen Advisor? Or maybe you are the girl for the job? Until May 31st, anyone is able to nominate a girl entering 7th to 12th grades in 2012 to serve a year-long commitment beginning this September as an advisor for Girl Up. Interested?
First, learn what being a Teen Advisor is all about here. Then ask someone to nominate you on the Girl Up Teen Advisor nomination page. We’re looking for girls who can activate their community, host Girl Up fundraisers, and provide important feedback for the campaign. Teen Advisors also get to attend amazing events and serve as spokespeople for Girl Up in the media — all while forming incredible relationships with each other and United Nations Foundation staff.
Check out this video from Teen Advisor Anj to learn why YOU should take your passion for Girl Up to the next level. The search is on, and we can’t wait to meet our next Teen Advisors.
(**A couple rules: Girls must be entering 7th-12th grades to be eligible for nomination. Nominators must be an adult (18 or older). We ask that you do not nominate family members. Thanks!)
