Girl Up Champion

As one of today’s most prominent businesswomen, Ivanka Trump is joining the Girl Up campaign as a Champion to mobilize teens in the United States and help improve the lives of adolescent girls around the world. “American girls are the new global entrepreneurs and the faces of philanthropy,” says Ms. Trump. “I am very proud to be a Girl Up Champion.”

Ivanka just put her business, Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry, to great use, designing a chic new bracelet to benefit Girl Up. The bracelet launched during Fashion's Night Out on September 10, 2010 in New York City. You can order it here for $40.00. Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry is donating 100% of net proceeds to the campaign.

During the upcoming year, Ivanka will support  Girl Up through engaging her fans and customers in the campaign. She will also visit a Girl Up supported program to experience firsthand how villages and communities can be transformed to better support adolescent girls and position them as the next generation of leaders.

Ivanka attended The Chapin School in New York City and graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut. She spent two years at Georgetown University and then transferred to the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude in 2004 with a B.S. in Economics.

As Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions, Ivanka M. Trump is charged with the domestic and global expansion of the Trump Organization’s real estate footprint. Ms. Trump is a principal of Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry, a luxury diamond line that launched with great success in fall 2007.

In August 2010 Ms. Trump announced a partnership with Marc Fisher Footwear to launch the Ivanka Trump Footwear Collection and a partnership with Mondani Handbags and Accessories to launch Ivanka Trump Handbags. Additionally in September 2011, Ms. Trump along with FleetSteet Ltd. launched a collection of outerwear.

Ms. Trump continued to expand her brand recently with the launch of her apparel collection for spring 2012. Partnering with HMX Group, Ms.Trump has created a line that consists of pieces inspired by a timeless and glamorous aesthetic.
